Based on vacations, we are looking at Tuesday, March 18th for the draft. Hope that works for all.
This is our third year and .... What would a new season be without changes ?

Speaking to several people who have been around since the beginning, there seems to be a consenous that Yahoo (from the first year) is the choice for the league system, however, the head to head format from last year (as opposed to strict rotisserie) is the preferred format. Quick overview: head to head game each week. Stats have changed. We have eliminated the Grand Slam, Perfect Game, No hitter, in favor of Batting Average, OBPS, and ERA. Because of the new stats, we CANNOT use points (ie 5 points per homerun). Instead, of the two teams playing each other, the team with most home runs that week, gets one point, team with lowest era gets one point, etc. As it stands there are 19 stats (subject to change based on your feedback and to be finalized draft night prior to selections). So, a game might end 10-9 or 15-4, etc. there's more detail on the site that you can read up on.

I think the roster should be cut down. I just checked and I had 30 players last year. I propose 25, this will give more waiver flexibility and make the draft go faster. If you go to players, you can see the ranking based on the stats I programmed. Take note that Peavy was the 7th best player last year, and this year Santana is projected to be 10th (again based on the league stats). From there, there is a drop off in pitcher value.
